The sound-absorbing wedges / mats are the most commonly used shape in sound studios and music rooms. This acoustic panel is used on the walls and ceiling to absorb sound.
These mats are also ideal for use in aquarium cabinets. For example, by covering walls and doors you can absorb and enormously reduce noise from pumps, water and pipes.
The thicker the mat, the better the dampening of unwanted sounds.
