Seachem Flourite Dark 7KG

Flourite® Dark is a specially broken, stable, porous clay gravel for the naturally planted aquarium. The appearance is best suited for planted aquariums, but can be used in any freshwater aquarium environment. Flourite® Dark is most effective when it is only used as an integral substrate bed, but it can be mixed with other gravel. Grind modifiers such as laterite are not required. Flourite® Dark is not chemically coated or treated and will not change the pH of the water. Flourite® Dark is good for the life of the aquarium and does not need to be replaced.

To determine how many bags your aquarium needs, bear in mind that each bag (7 kg, 15.4 lbs) occupies a volume of approximately 5,500 cm3 (325 cu. In.). To determine the desired volume, multiply the tank width by length by the desired depth.

Use of Seachem Flourite Dark

Although Flourite® Dark is a natural product, although it is pre-washed, it can become dusty during transport and must be rinsed before use to remove residual dust.

NOTE: the special mesh base of the 3.5 kg size makes it possible to flush it straight into the bag.
