When do you need to replace your quartz glass?
Many people only replace the quarter glass from their UV lamp if it is broken. However, we recommend replacing the quartz glass every 2/3 years. Quartz glass transmits less and less UV light. This can even go up to 25% per year. In addition to replacing quartz glass, you can also clean the quarter glass. However, a clean and clear quartz glass says little about the amount of UV light that it still lets through.
