Pseudochromis aldabraensis - Tank Bred

An Aldabra Dwarf Dottyback or Orange Dottyback is a beautiful, colorful fish for a marine aquarium, and because they are easy to keep, they are also very suitable for beginners.

Many species are also suitable for smaller aquariums, such as the Pseudochromis Bitaeniatus, which only grows to 12 cm. They have a small territory and are easily satisfied with a permanent hiding place among the rocks. They are peaceful swimmers and easy eaters.

In smaller aquariums it is not wise to keep several perch together as they will become aggressive towards each other. In larger tanks this could be possible, provided there are sufficient hiding places available.
