Why zooplankton?

Many aquarists regularly add zooplankton to their tank, creating ideal conditions for a stable population of copepods to settle in their tank. It also helps to keep water parameters within an optimal range.

In addition, the fish species that like to peck at the reef rock (e.g. dragons, pit fish) always have a certain amount of live food available in the aquarium. Our Tigriopus Californicus Mix is highly recommended, especially when starting up tanks, to establish the biological cycles in the aquarium.
