Ocean Art BioCarbon is a very pure and effective activated carbon. The BioCarbon is washed with hydrochloric acid. This removes any contaminants to prevent substances from leaching. We recommend using no more than 50 g per 100 litres. BioCarbon can be added every month and should be removed after 2-5 days. BioCarbon can be used in fresh and saltwater aquariums. Great for removing drugs, chemicals and the yellow tint in your water column.
