Maxspect Ethereal Infinite 230W LED lighting

Give your marine aquarium advanced LED lighting with the Maxspect Ethereal Infinite E8-230. Designed specifically for aquarium enthusiasts, this revolutionary LED ramp combines power, customization, and smart technology for spectacular results. With its 276 LEDs, advanced spectrum control, and optimized cooling, it ensures optimal coral growth and an enhancement to your aquarium.

  • High-quality LED lighting: 230 W power for exceptional light intensity.
  • Smart control: full customization via the Syna-G Cloud app.
  • Ambience and aesthetics: RGB lighting and adjustable spectra for total immersion.

Thanks to advanced multispectral technology, the Maxspect Ethereal Infinite E8-230 faithfully reproduces the natural light conditions of coral reefs. By integrating a broad spectrum of wavelengths, it stimulates coral growth and coloration and provides uniform illumination. Whether you have soft, hard or mixed corals, this LED ramp allows you to tailor the lighting to the specific needs of each species. The spectrum is precisely adjustable to simulate different ocean depths and natural light variations, creating an optimal environment that is true to natural coral habitats.

Unparalleled power for spectacular results

With a power of 230 W, this LED strip offers an impressive light intensity, ensuring optimum light penetration into the water even in the deepest aquariums. Unlike conventional lighting solutions, the Maxspect Ethereal Infinite E8-230 uses redundant LEDs, which not only extends the life of the light, but also ensures smooth spectrum transitions. The transitions between white and blue light occur naturally, preventing stress to the corals and creating a beautiful natural effect in your aquarium.

The Maxspect Ethereal Infinite 230W LED lighting has several advantages:

  • Better color mixing with more sources of each color
  • Wider light distribution with a larger surface area covered by LEDs
  • Longer lifespan because they do not produce excessive heat

There are 10 different colors divided over 8 channels:

  • Channel A: 12 UV LEDs (390/400 nm) + 12 violet LEDs (410-420 nm) + 12 deep blue LEDs (435-440 nm)
  • Channel B: 96 royal blue LEDs (450-455 nm)
  • Channel C: 72 light blue LEDs (460-470 nm)
  • Channel D: 12 Cyan LEDs (470-480 nm)
  • Channel E: 12 green LEDs (520-525 nm)
  • Channel F: 24 cool white LEDs (9000-11000 Kelvin)
  • Channel G: 12 warm white LEDs (2800-3200 Kelvin)
  • Channel H: 12 red LEDs (660-665 nm)

PAR measurements

After assessing the light spectrum, we measured the intensity of light that is beneficial for coral growth, specifically using PAR (more precisely: PPFD). The intensity is measured in micromoles of photons per square meter per second (µmol photons/m²/sec).

Measurement Conditions: Intensity was measured with all channels set to 100% power (shown in the first three graphs) and with a program we typically use for a mixed reef aquarium (shown in the last three graphs).

Depth measurements: Measurements were taken at depths of 20, 40 and 60 cm below the Maxspect Ethereal Infinite.

Measurement area: An area of 80 x 60 cm was used for the intensity measurements.

Measurement environment: Measurements were performed in open air, as light reflection on the water surface can vary significantly depending on the water flow.

Results: Here are some important observations. The areas given are approximate, depending on the measurement resolution (every 5 cm).

The PAR values are high and the effort to use as many lower wattage LEDs as possible is the best.

At full power:

  • 20 cm below the fixture – We measure more than 1000 PAR values on a surface of 30 x 20 cm.
  • 20cm below the fixture – We measure >500 PAR values on an area of almost 60 x 40cm, and even on an area of 50cm wide closest to the fixture.
  • 20 cm below the fixture – The PAR value remains above 100 over the entire surface, except for approximately 10 x 5 cm in the corners.
  • 40 cm below the fixture – The PAR value is above 400 on a surface of 40 x 40 cm.
  • 40 cm below the fixture – PAR is higher than 150 over almost the entire surface
  • 60 cm below the fixture – PAR is higher than 100 over the entire surface and higher than 200 over almost 60×60 cm
