RAZOR is a light module that has been developed for professional or private use. Where aquariums or terrariums must be illuminated under difficult conditions and must be particularly splash-proof, our RAZOR light module is the perfect solution.

The lighting housing consists of a silver anodized aluminum profile in one piece. This housing contains the entire electronics, including the electronic ballast, in a highly protected manner. The high-quality anodized surface ensures optimum light reflection and is even resistant to aggressive salt water. All sockets and sealing surfaces are also watertight and equipped with extra neoprene sealing.

High technology

Like all other Giesemann products, the RAZOR T-5 module is manufactured exclusively in Germany and undergoes extensive quality control and electrical testing prior to delivery.

We only use high-quality components. The electronic ballast is, for example, equipped with a soft starting technology that protects the lamp and has a temperature-controlled switch-off mechanism for overheated or defective T-5 lamps. The built-in electronic HF ballasts also offer flicker-free operation with immediate activation.

High light output

RAZOR T-5 modules are a cost-efficient way to create a lot of light in a small space. That is why the RAZOR light module is always equipped with innovative and powerful T-5 technology. These T-5 fluorescent lamps offer up to 30% higher efficiency compared to other 26 mm tubes.

The special casing design creates an ideal working environment for the exposed T-5 lamps, ensuring maximum durability and light output

The RAZOR lighting system is supplied together with special high-gloss reflectors, which almost double the light intensities of the fluorescent lamps. These reflectors can be adjusted to the emission angle of your preference and ensure homogeneous spatial lighting.

Infinite mounting options

The small dimensions of the light housing (height x width only 46 x 30 mm !!) offer a multitude of mounting options. The dimensions are so extremely compact that almost any aquarium size can be illuminated with its maximum light intensity.

Dimmable version

Pay attention! Light bars are supplied with dimmable ballasts, but to dim them, a dimming computer is required that works with 1-10 Volt control voltage. This is not supplied as standard.
