A known common problem in feeding is that the food drifts apart and is not completely eaten and the food enters the filter, causing the water to become contaminated faster.
Due to the feeding station of Eheim, the food does not float through the entire aquarium and you can view the fish which do and do not eat.
The feeding station is suitable for the Eheim automatic feeders with article number 3581000 and the twinfeeder 3582000 and most common other brands of automatic feeders.
Advantages of a food station are:
- The food is given underwater in the same place through the room
- There is very little waste from food fragmentation
- Everything is eaten
- No rotting food remains in the decorations or filter
- Less contamination in the water due to the reduction of decaying matter (nitrate and phosphate)
- No oxygen consumption from bacterial decomposition of food residues
- All fish gather in one location which is ideal for you to check for diseases, parasites, inflammation.
