The Doryrhamphus bicarinatus, also known as the Blue Stripe Pipefish, is a beautiful, slender pipefish distinguished by its bright blue longitudinal stripes and elegant swimming behavior. This variety is DJM Bred (farmed), which results in stronger, more hardy fish that adapt significantly better to aquarium conditions than wild-caught ones.

Care

The Doryrhamphus bicarinatus thrives in a stable reef aquarium with plenty of hiding places and low currents at the bottom and along the reef. They are sensitive but easy to keep, provided they have the right environment and food.

Power supply

Although DJM breeding stock often adapts more quickly to replacement foods, it remains important to offer small live or fresh frozen foods, such as:
