The Centropyge loricula, better known as the Flame Angel, is one of the most popular dwarf angelfish among marine aquarium enthusiasts. This strikingly colored fish from the Pacific Ocean immediately stands out with its intense orange-red body and deep blue accents along its fins and flanks.

The Flame-bellied Fritillary remains relatively small—up to about 10 cm—making it well-suited for medium-sized reefs. They are active, curious, and constantly searching for food among the live rock. They quickly feel at home in a well-maintained environment with plenty of hiding places.

Diet : Omnivorous. They enjoy a mix of algae, spirulina, mysis, brine shrimp, and special angelfish food. Regular variety ensures optimal color and health.

Behavior : Generally peaceful, but can be territorial toward conspecifics or other dwarf angelfish. It is therefore recommended to keep only one specimen per aquarium.

Suitable for:

• Reef aquariums from approx. 200 litres
• Experienced and semi-experienced marine aquarium keepers
• Community aquariums with peaceful species
