Caulerpa racemosaAlgae is a very popular and easy to grow macroalgae. It is a very nice addition to all marine aquariums and should certainly not be missing in any refugium.

Caulerpa is very suitable for use in a seaweed filter for the breakdown of nitrate and phosphate. Can also be used in a pond basket in the sump with sufficient light above.

Caulerpa is a strong, fast growing seaweed that is excellent for use in a refugium (seaweed filter) to absorb excess nutrients, especially nitrate and phosphate. Each cell grows from end to end resulting in long strands. Easy to prune / pull out.
