The Bubble Magus Rock DSP series consists of original replacement pumps for various Bubble Magus protein skimmers. These pumps have been specially developed for use as skimmer pumps and ensure efficient mixing of air and aquarium water.

When the original DSP pump of a Bubble Magus protein skimmer is worn out or defective, it can be replaced with the corresponding Rock DSP version. This allows the skimmer to function optimally again without having to replace the entire protein skimmer.

The Rock DSP pumps are equipped with a needle wheel that intensively mixes the aspirated water and air. This creates a large quantity of fine air bubbles that are essential for effective protein skimming.

Compatibility

The various Rock DSP pumps are used with multiple Bubble Magus protein skimmers. Which pump is suitable depends on the exact model and generation of the skimmer.

• Rock DSP1000: suitable for Bubble Magus C3, C3.5 and Curve A5 skimmers, among others
• Rock DSP2000: suitable for, among others, the Bubble Magus Curve A8 and other skimmers originally equipped with a DSP2000
• Rock DSP4000: suitable for Bubble Magus Curve A9 and Curve 9+ skimmers, among others

Always check the existing pump

Over the years, Bubble Magus has used different pumps on different generations of the same skimmer. For example, an older model might be equipped with a Rock SP pump, while a newer version uses a Rock DSP pump.

Therefore, always check the model number on the existing pump before ordering. For example, if the current pump says Rock DSP2000, choose the DSP2000 version.
