The ARKA Core Multi-Filter MF4000 is a multifunctional filter made of robust and food-safe plastic that can be filled with various filter materials (including resin/mixed bed resin, absorbers, activated carbon and much more). The MF4000 is ideally suited as a resin filter after an osmosis installation, but can also be used universally. This is made possible on the one hand by the 1 inch built-in water-neutral plastic thread and the reduction from 1 inch to 3/4 inch and on the other hand by the ¾ inch to ¼ inch connection pieces used in The filter is pressure resistant up to 28 bar and is characterized by a double O- ring seal characterized by maximum tightness.

A 4000 ml filter cartridge is included in the 20 x 4.5 inch filter housing. Fine filters are installed on both sides of the inner filter cartridge. These ensure that floating particles do not end up in the internal filter or parts of the filter material of the internal filter. The supplied internal filter cartridge is refillable, but can also be replaced by internal cartridges of comparable dimensions.

Installation:

• Mount the supplied wall bracket in the desired location and screw the MF4000 onto the wall bracket.
• Now remove the main body of the MF4000 using the supplied filter cartridge wrench.
• Remove the cartridge from the main body and open it with the top screw cap.
• Fill the inner cartridge with the filter material, screw the lid back on and place the cartridge back in the filter housing.
• Screw the base body onto the filter cover.
• Use the filter cartridge wrench for this.
• Connect the water source and a drain hose to the appropriate water inlets (IN) and water outlets (OUT).
• Make sure the hoses are connected correctly and securely.

Watch out!

• The multifilter must be securely fastened so that it cannot fall over! Therefore, use the supplied wall bracket!
• The maximum pressure resistance of 28 bar must not be exceeded!
• Vent the housing by pressing and holding the red vent button (on top of the filter cover) until water comes out of the housing.
• The manufacturer recommends using the supplied filter sponges.
• If you wish to use the supplied transitions, ensure that the supplied O-ring seals are positioned correctly.
• Alternatively, you can often wrap the wire sides with the supplied Teflon tape.
• Before using the ¾'' to ¼'' transitions, note the following: Before installing the hose, remove the blue retaining rings and press down on the retainer. Once the hose is connected, replace the retaining rings.
