Information
Enables biological filtration of Thiobacillus denitrificans, which grows on sulfur and processes nitrate. Once withdrawn, the degradation performance in the sulfur filter is slightly better than in the biofilter fed with organic carbon (vodka filter, etc.). The falling pH value must be buffered by downstream limestone (eg Calcium reactor without CO2 supply).
