QUALITY Carbon is a premium activated carbon specifically developed for use in aquariums. Its high purity and optimal porous structure ensure exceptionally effective removal of unwanted substances from the water. QUALITY Carbon binds toxic compounds, toxins and jelly substances, dissolved organic pollutants, and medication residues. This results in clear aquarium water and a visibly improved polyp pattern in corals.

Application

Place QUALITY Carbon in a filter bag (not included). Rinse the carbon with hot water before use to remove air from the macropores. It can then be placed directly in the filter.

Contact time / Length of stay

• After taking medication or during heavy exposure: remove or replace the activated carbon after 2–3 days.
• For long-lasting water clarity: QUALITY Carbon can remain in the filter for up to 4 weeks.

Important note

With long-term use of activated carbon it may be necessary to adjust the addition of trace elements.
