Aqua Medic water purifiers are suitable for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. Helix Max can eliminate single-celled algae, thus providing crystal clear water in aquariums. The water is guided in a spiral path around the quartz tube, which results in a more efficient use of UV radiation than standard units. This system consists of modules with 80 watt lamps. The housing consists of solid blue PVC tubes. The electronic ballast is placed in a switch box together with an hour counter.
