Aqua Medic ICP Xtra

With the ICP Xtra A, B, C, D products you get the main ingredients to provide the water in the aquarium with the elements calcium, magnesium and carbonate that are necessary for calcification. This ensures a balanced and stable environment for the successful keeping of fish and corals in seawater.

The ICP Xtra A, B, C, D components can be used individually or in combination to supply the Balling or Balling light method. The use is uncomplicated and is recommended by a dosing pump.

ICP Xtra A

Sodium hydrogen carbonate
(NaHCO3)
For increasing the carbonate hardness in saltwater aquariums

Use as a single component:
3 g sodium hydrogen carbonate per 100 l aquarium water increases the carbonate hardness by approximately 1° dKH.
Use as Balling Component:
Before use, it is mandatory to prepare a liquid solution with osmosis water. The maximum solubility at 20 °C is approximately 93 g sodium hydrogen carbonate per 1 l osmosis water.

Ingredient: Sodium hydrogen carbonate
UFI Code: none
EC No: 205-633-8

ICP Xtra B

Calcium chloride dihydrate
(CaCl2 - 2 H2O)
For lime supply in the saltwater aquarium

Use as a single component:
10 g calcium chloride dihydrate per 100 l aquarium water increases the calcium content by approximately 2.7 mg/l.
Use as Balling Component:
Before use, it is mandatory to prepare a liquid solution with osmosis water. The maximum solubility is: approximately 1,280 g calcium chloride dihydrate in 1 l osmosis water.

WARNING

ICP Xtra C

NaCl-free sea salt
For preparing a balanced salt mixture in the saltwater aquarium, without sodium chloride.

Use as a single component:
Not recommended.
Use as Balling Component:
Before application it is mandatory to prepare a liquid solution with osmosis water.
Dosage:
1. Dosage according to the amount of sodium hydrogen carbonate added:
For every 100 g of sodium hydrogen carbonate, 37 g of NaCl-free sea salt is required.
Or
2. Dosage according to the amount of calcium chloride dihydrate added:
For every 100 g of calcium chloride dihydrate, 80 g of NaCl-free sea salt is required.

WARNING
Ingredients: calcium chloride dihydrate, magnesium chloride hexahydrate, potassium chloride, sodium sulfate, sodium hydrogen carbonate

ICP Xtra D

Magnesium chloride (hexahydrate)
(MgCl2 - 6 H2O)
For magnesium supply in the saltwater aquarium

Use as a single component:
10 g magnesium chloride hexahydrate per 100 l aquarium water increases the magnesium content by approximately 1.2 mg/l.
Use as Balling Component:
Before use, it is mandatory to prepare a liquid solution with osmosis water. The maximum solubility is: approximately 1,200 g magnesium chloride hexahydrate in 1 l osmosis water.
