Alveopora spongiosa (Bright Green) is a beautiful LPS coral species that immediately stands out with its vibrant, bright green polyps and graceful movement in the current. This coral species forms spherical colonies with long, elegant tentacles that strongly resemble those of a Goniopora, but with fewer polyps per head and a more friendly disposition for novice LPS keepers.

- Water flow : Gentle to moderate
- Diet : Primarily through photosynthesis (zooxanthellae), but benefits from supplemental nutrition such as plankton or coral food

Alveopora spongiosa is less demanding than Goniopora, making it ideal for those who want the graceful appearance of that species without the difficulty. With proper care, this coral grows steadily and makes an impressive focal point in any reef aquarium.
Tip : Place it in a quiet spot with enough space around it, so that the tentacles can move freely without contact with other corals.
