Achilles Aragonite Frag Plugs

Achilles Aragonite Frag Plugs are round cutting stones with a base specially for placement in cutting holders / grids or in holes on living stone. These cutting stones are ideal for use with branch-shaped soft and stony corals such as Acropora and Montipora species, Hystrix and Kenya trees; They are also regularly used for cuttings of premium buttons.

Achilles Aragonite Frag Plugs are white in color, have a diameter of 20 mm and a thickness of 6 mm. The foot is 18 mm long and can be broken off if necessary for easy placement on flat surfaces.

All aragonite cutting stones from Achilles Aquatics are 100% made from Caribbean sand. This natural, calcium-based sand promotes faster growth of corals and lime algae on the cutting stone. The cutting stones are completely logged out and are ready for use.

Available in inexpensive packaging of 25 pieces or 100 pieces for large consumption.

Use of the Achilles Aragonite Frag Plugs

• Rinse well before use.
• Dry the bottom of the coral and top of the cutting stone well and apply a small amount of glue to the coral.
• Carefully press the pieces together for 15 seconds and then place the cuttings back in the aquarium in a place with sufficient flow.
