Elevated phosphate levels can lead to unwanted algae growth and a decrease in coral coloration. Maintaining phosphate levels within the proper range, along with phosphate media, will result in a cleaner, healthier aquarium.
Recommended
We recommend keeping your phosphate in the 0.02-0.05 ppm range for reef aquariums.
Instructions
Use 25-100 ml of media per 100 L (25 gal) of water. Phosphate media should be replaced every four weeks or when phosphates begin to rise. Using a fluidized media reactor will provide the best results. Do not rinse before use.
