Care Bacter contains bacteria on a substrate of powdered Maerlgrind, which keep fresh or seawater aquariums clean.

Action mode:

• 1. Various green and filamentous algae are greatly reduced, algae growth on aquarium windows is retarded. The introduced bacteria compete with the mentioned algae.
• 2. Nitrate and phosphate compounds decrease. The bacteria take up nitrate and phosphate compounds as food and are digested by corals, separated respectively by a skimmer or filter at the end of their life.
• 3. Corals and fish become more vital. The bacteria and other contents supplement the immune system and reduce the risk of diseases in particular. of Vibrio infections.
• 4. The aquarium looks much cleaner and organic waste / duff is significantly reduced. The bacteria consume the waste / duff as food.

Application:

• For the first application, we recommend a so-called “shock vaccination” (scoop included in the scope of delivery), which will effectively and quickly lead to a desired positive result:
• For aquariums from 500 to 1,000 liters (132 to 264 USgal.): 10 ml (0.33 fl. Oz) per week (equal to 4 scoops) for a period of 2 weeks.
• For aquariums from 100 to 500 liters (26 to 132 USgal.): 5 ml (0.17 fl. Oz) per week (equal to 2 scoops) for a period of 2 weeks.
• For aquariums of 30 to 100 liters (8 to 26 USgal.): 2.5 ml (0.08 fl. Oz) per week (equal to 1 scoop) for a period of 2 weeks.
• During dosing, we recommend temporarily stopping the existing mechanical filtration system and the seawater skimming for 10 minutes and injecting the dose directly into the aquarium biotope.
  
  

Normal dosage after the first vaccination:

• For aquariums from 500 to 1,000 liters (132 to 264 USgal.): 2.5 ml per week (equal to 1 measuring spoon).
• For aquariums from 30 to 500 liters (26 to 132 USgal.): 1.25 ml per week (equal to 1/2 measuring spoon).
• We recommend temporarily stopping the existing mechanical filtration system and seawater skimming for 10 minutes during dosing and injecting the dose directly into the aquarium biotope.
