Deltec Vlies Filter VF 4000

The Deltec fleece filter is a new automatic roll filter from the company Deltec that is also known for its top quality protein skimmers and calcium reactors. These two new Deltec roll filters include the VF 4000 and VF 6000 for 4,000 and 6,000 liters of water, respectively.

The two new automatic filter roll models both have a sturdy PVC construction and a 'standing' form factor with a small footprint to make it easier to fit in the sump of the aquarium. The Deltec VF 4000 and VF 6000 are both 50 cm (20 in) long and 23.5 cm (9 in) wide and vary only in their depth; the VF 4000 is 15.5 cm (6 in) deep and takes a 12 cm long filter spool and the VF 6000 is 22 cm (8.6 in) and occupies an 18 cm long filter roll.

A few highlights of the Deltec Fleece Filter are that they are already mounted with a sturdy PVC construction that still have viewing windows for the water level on both sides. Unlike many other roll filter systems, the role with this Deltec system is very easy to change.
