Deltec kalkwasserroerder
Kalkwasser - Translates from German for lime water and is a solution made by dissolving calcium hydroxide in water. The resulting fresh solution is alkaline with a pH of 12.4 and contains a ready range of both calcium ions and carbonate ions.
The solution reacts easily with CO2 in the atmosphere to form calcium carbonate and must therefore be made in a relatively airtight environment, for which the lime washer stirrer is very suitable.
