Orbit pumps produce a unique type of flow. Circling the aquarium with water movement, like the water moving in the ocean. Orbit creates a cross current that simulates the tidal current experienced on ocean reefs, which is an excellent mechanism for lifting excess nutrients from the bottom of the aquarium and removing them through filtration.

Just like ocean currents, it's not just one type of current that makes the reef thrive, but your aquarium truly thrives with all kinds of currents. In combination with the directional and random flow patterns of our Nero pump line, a true recreation of the ocean current can be achieved: powerful, directional, systematic and chaotic.
