Whether you're just building a saltwater fish, reef tank or freshwater tank, and even reptile environments, you'll love this rock and so will your pets. It is very porous and beautifully formed. Marco rock is a natural rock harvested on land from an ancient reef system that was buried when the Florida landmass was formed.

The rock is a "green" sustainable product, as it is not harvested from a marine environment and does not negatively impact our delicate reef or marine ecosystem. Combine this with our unique chemical-free cleaning and processing and you get great looking rock, completely pest and bio free that is also environmentally friendly.

Natural top and a smooth bottom making it the perfect choice for building a reef landscape. Use these pieces to start your aquascape. The flat bottom provides a solid first layer to build on.

We recommend placing this stone under any rock work on the boundary layer between the glass and the rock view. Separating them 4-8 inches (10-20 cm) allows the rockwork to "float" above this bottom layer, promoting healthy flow around the rockwork and over the substrate. Foundation stone can be siliconized on the glass if desired.
