Hanna HI-721 long-range handheld colorimeter iron - Checker®HC
About 6.3% of the earth's crust is made of iron with 43% of this amount in the soil. As a result, iron is naturally present in most water supplies.
Left in the water, iron will not only stain the surface of pipes and pools, or poison life in the water, it will also affect water taste and cause problems with animal feeding lines.
Testing should therefore be an important part of any water monitoring process - especially when you check your swimming pool, view the quality of the water in your aquarium or monitor water drainage.
