Information about activated carbon
The most important thing is a low phosphate leachate (contamination) to prevent eutrophication of the aquarium water. Unfortunately, the use of phosphoric acid to optimize the surface of carbon is common in the production process. This results in high levels of phosphate in much activated carbon on the market. Aqua Light Super Active Carbon meets the requirements and high standards for use as a filter material for aquariums without extra pollution of phosphate.
